Short Story Competition

Jersey Library

Course Overview

Competition

We are challenging you to write a short story for Christmas in 100 words.

Collect your entry form and draw out your ‘mystery elements of a Christmas story’ from the town library, the branch library at Les Quennevais, or the mobile library. You may select three elements and choose your favourite two from these to use in your story. All entries must be your own original work. Please use the front side for your story and put your name and contact number on the back of your entry.

Hand your entry in at any of our libraries or post it to Jersey Library 100 Words, Halkett Place, St Helier, JE2 4WH. Jersey Library reserves the right to display and/or publish entries. Entries cannot be returned; please keep a copy. All entries must be received by Saturday 14 December 2019.

The competition is open to ages 16 plus; there is a separate competition for children.
