The Harbour Gallery Jersey

Visual Art, Craft, Cultural Organisations

Information

The Harbour Gallery Jersey, located on the bulwarks in St Aubin, comprises a series of spaces for local artists to show their work and work on site, as well as a shop and café.

Run by the Art in the Frame Foundation, it was set up in 1998 by two local art teachers who strongly believed in the wealth of local talent in the arts and crafts to be found in Jersey and the lack of exhibition space and acknowledgement for this talent. In 2002, Art in the Frame Foundation took on the gallery which has become the hub and window for the charity.

It offers regular weekly and weekend workshops from local, UK and continental artist/craftworkers and  a wide range of children's holiday workshops.  It is an accredited examination centre offering GCSE and A Levels in Art and Design, Photography and Art Textiles.
