Clara’s on the Curtains by Arthur Lovegrove.
The curtain is about to go up on the Wickley Women’s Guild Variety and Dramatic Show, when one of the leads loses her voice! This is the start of a series of calamities.
Then follow two plays from Duets by the award-winning West End and Broadway playwright, Peter Quilter. Duets is a gloriously funny examination of the chaotic world of love, relationships, an hilarious tribute to the strength and madness of the human heart.
DUET 1: Bind Date – Jonathon and Wendy are on a blind date and hoping to get it right this time, even though they’ve never got it right before!
DUET 2: Secretarial Skills – Barrie is not really interested in women, but Janet sees no reason to stop trying!
