Event Overview
The epicentre of Skipton Open Studios 2018! ArtHouse Jersey will be taking over the former Police Station as a pop-up venue for several artistic projects, events and as an information hub for the public to drop in to find out more about the event. Studios in Piquet House will include those of Christine Finn, Gabriella Street, Richard Pedley, Nick Romeril and FLUX. Projects taking place include the 'Who am I?' project and 'The Story Exchange' by Sarah Taylor, as well as a pop-up bookstore for local writers.
The 'Who am I?' project invites adults and children of all ages to create a life-size collage of who you truly are, from the inside out. 'The Story Exchange', inspired by the BBC’s Listening Project, presents an opportunity to listen to some of the island’s voices in a unique experiential art installation.
