Swingin‘ In The Rain is a show that hits, swings and finesses its way through the doom and gloom of today’s news, and instead gives you the greatest music of all time. Raised on the island, Jersey Boy Jonny Labey grew up to the brassy sounds of the Jersey Big Band where his father Mark Labey is resident vocalist.
Returning to The Opera House to a stage that started Jonny off, he’s back with a punch joined by some of the finest talent London and Jersey has to offer including the velvety voice of one of London’s best Big Band singers Atila Huseyin! Exploring the old and the new sounds of Big Band it will more importantly be an evening of art across the Swingin‘ spectrum whether it’s through DANCE, SONG, MUSIC or even POETRY we’re paying a tribute to some of the greatest artists to have graced the planet. So forget your troubles common we’re tapping, to Cry a whole river aint sane….here’s one for the road to lighten the load til’ you’re Swingin‘ In The Rain.
