Brunskill and Grimes: Jackie the Baboon

Event Overview

The true story of a baboon, who as a mascot for the 3rd South African infantry, served in the trenches of WWI, featuring innovative puppetry. The play has been commissioned by ArtHouse Jersey in association with Jersey Festival of Words as part of the Island’s commemorations of the Great War. This scratch performance will be introduced by Director of ArtHouse Jersey Tom Dingle and followed by a Q & A with the directors and full cast.
