Event Overview
Martin Morgan has spent the last year researching the cartographic history of our islands. He is especially interested in the earliest maps of the islands and is determined to prove that the islands were known of, and mapped much earlier than we suppose.
Martin is also exploring the different names the islands have been called over the years. His talk will be illustrated by some of the maps that he has already acquired for his book and will include several rare and previously unpublished ones.
Martin will also be available to talk to during the opening hours of the Local History Fayre.
