The Jersey Memory Box app: Lucy Layton

Jersey Library

Event Overview

1:10pm – 1:50pm, Friday 21 September: Jersey Library

Jersey Heritage is about to launch a new app called the Jersey Memory Box that will provide easy access to museum objects and archive photographs to use for reminiscence activities. Research has shown that things from the past can be powerful ways to stimulate conversations with older people, particularly those living with dementia. Join curator Lucy Layton of Jersey Heritage and app developer Fred Meyer of CYDISYS to discover how digital technology can have benefits in the health and well-being sector.

Jersey Library is pleased to present this event as part of National Coding Week 2018
