Reflections of D-Day - Lunchtime Talk

Event Overview
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, local poet Juliette Hart will be talking about her travels to France as poet-in-residence of the Jersey Normandy Veterans' Association. Since 2011 she has visited the beaches, cemeteries and museums with veterans of the campaign. Their experiences are told in the poetry of Juliette's book "Reflections of D-Day". The talk will be interspersed with slides, especially of the mesmerising remains of the Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches.
