Un p’tit goût d’Jèrriais - A little taste of Jèrriais.

Bring your lunch along to a taster session of Jèrriais, Jersey’s native language. The session will be an informal opportunity to meet members of the new Jèrriais teaching team and to hear, learn and speak some basic Jèrriais. You will also be able to find out about some of the current initiatives being undertaken to revitalise the language. The session will be open to learners of all abilities and no prior knowledge of the language is necessary. We will look at ways of greeting someone, discuss where we live and will talk about our likes and dislikes in terms of food and drink. Tea and coffee will be available.
