The Vega and the Red Cross parcels

Event Overview
On 30th December 1944, the SS Vega arrived in Jersey bringing the first cargo of Red Cross supplies to the island.
To mark the 75th anniversary of this event, there will be a talk describing the events leading up to the arrival of the Vega with the Red Cross parcels. After the talk David Isherwood will share his boyhood memories of the Red Cross food.
