Event Overview
Pier Road was originally developed to provide a gateway between the Harbour and the rest of town with merchants quickly populating properties providing ready access to the Harbour. However, the close proximity of the Harbour and Fort Regent and the number of sailors and soldiers that frequented the area quickly saw it become a Red Light District.
