Candice Grandener provides an introduction to the Franco-Rwandan novelist Gael Faye, author of the best-selling Small Country, published in 2016 and already translated into 36 languages. Candice, one of the tutors at the Alliance Française, guides you through Faye’s touching, semi-autobiographical novel, illustrating her talk with readings and video. Bring your own copy if you have one – to have read the book is an advantage but not a requirement!
