Eight major international soloists celebrate the liberation of the channel islands in a night of stunning music and poignant personal stories written by islanders.
Listen to exquisite playing by award winning artists in Brahms’ wonderful sextet – a masterpiece building on Beethoven’s glorious late string quartets. Enjoy the genius and sublime melodies of Mendelssohn's wonderful Octet – written when only a teenager - and filled with youthful verve and joy.
The soloists include Boris Brovstyn, Simone Van de Giessen, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Christian Pierre La Marca, Dora Kokas and Jennifer Stumm.
Alexander Sitkovetsky also speaks in the pre-concert event at 7.00pm.
