Souaixante – Jersey Icon Series
The Harbour Gallery
Event Overview
‘Souaixante’ is an exhibition of Jools Holt’s Jersey Icon Series, shown in its entirety, for the first time. The 60-strong series, which has taken nearly five years to create, focuses on the sites, buildings and best-loved features of island life - elements which are treasured by islanders and visitors alike.
You’ll spot Corbière Lighthouse, Elizabeth Castle, Archirondel Tower and the White House in ‘Souaixante’, but the collection also celebrates the more unconventional - from Little Joe’s Surf Shop to Le Braye Cafe and, of course, the iconic Jersey Cow.
Keith Beecham, Chief Executive of Visit Jersey, will open the exhibition at St Aubin’s Harbour Gallery on Thursday 10 May at 7pm. This event is open to all.
Martin Cotillard is sharing the space with his wood turned crafts.
